AGYP's Goals

Keep kids out of prison - that's how AGYP stops New York City crime. Our goals:

  • Make the Lower East Side and East Harlem safer for everyone.
  • Give the overloaded court system a reliable alternative to incarceration.
  • Intervene and reclaim young people from lives of crime.
  • "Angel, where do I begin to thank you? You blessed me with a golden opportunity. This May, I will receive a Bachelor of Arts. I will shed tears of joy on graduation day as I remember the young, ignorant, troubled boy that Angel Rodriguez saved!”
